[Legal name pending], trading as RobotData, based in Israel, is the data controller for personal data collected through RobotData. That means we decide why and how your data is used.

What we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, profile picture, login details): to create and run your account. Legal basis: contract.
  • Content you add (datasets, listings, submissions, proposals, comments): to provide the service. Legal basis: contract.
  • Payout details you choose to share (e.g. PayPal email or bank details): to pay you for accepted data or sales. Legal basis: contract.
  • AI questions you send to our assistants: to answer them and enforce daily usage limits. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
  • Robot data requests (what you describe your robot needs, the requirements we extract, the results and your feedback on them): to show your matches, and — combined and de-identified across users — to improve our dataset matching and understand which data robotics teams need. Your individual requests stay private unless you choose to share a link. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
  • Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages visited): for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Support messages: to help you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and run RobotData, including cloud hosting, database and AI model providers.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling our products, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside Israel. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open, and payment and payout records as long as tax and accounting law requires. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, and the GDPR where it applies, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority or your local regulator. We reply within one month.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-user data permissions to protect your data.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and make the site work. We do not use advertising cookies.
